Edith Onnen has been living above Benken in the Zurich Weinland region for over 45 years. The view is magnificent, the roses bloom in the well-kept garden. After four months without a car, she decided on the KYBURZ PLUS. "I have a secure feeling and the panoramic view is great," she says. Although she was already in her "80s" by age, the sprightly senior may be able to manage the steep ascent to the house on foot. She walks with her dog several times a day. The ways to the purchase are however far in the rural wine country.
Up to near Germany
Every week Edith Onnen goes to Flurlingen for gymnastics. "The kindergarten children always wave to me," she says happily. The joy may not only be due to the vehicle. Her bright blue, lively eyes and her open laughter cannot be ignored.
Before Edith Onnen came to Switzerland with her husband for the work, she worked in her hometown Hamburg as a translator for the languages German, French and English. Her language skills were in demand in an export company. Even today, her international outlook is still close: with the KYBURZ PLUS, she travels as far as nearby Germany.
A well-filled trunk
“I'm independent," she says. "I go to the doctor myself and do my weekly shopping." The large shopping bag fits easily into the trunk. The large bag with dog food is also stowed away. The contact and visits to her sons are also important to her. "I don't want to miss the KYBURZ PLUS - this is quality of life".
